Hi! My name is Miss Taylor and I am so excited to be a part
of JR Smith Elementary School! More importantly, I am thrilled to be your
teacher! It is going to be a fun year full of learning and adventures. I can’t
wait to see what this year has in store for us! I want to know al about you,
but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.
I was born in Salt Lake City and raised in Las Vegas,
Nevada. I am the second of five kids and I have two sisters and two brothers. I
graduated high school a year early and came straight to Provo to attend Brigham
Young University.
I am also a violinist. I started playing the violin when I
was three years old and grew to love the instrument and the way that it made me
feel when I could share my music with others. When I was in high school I got
to such a level that I began teaching violin lessons to young children. This
helped me decide that I wanted to become a teacher for good. I loved the
excitement of teaching others something that they didn’t know before.
I am so excited to be your teacher and for you to be apart
of Room 2 in second grade!
